In this programme Mayfield Community Arts Centre is committed to providing accessible integrated community arts projects with a focus on participation, training, employment.


The Arts and Integration Programme focuses on 3 main areas:

Employment:
Mayfield Community Arts Centre provides a Community Services Programme employing 5 artists with disabilities to work in the community entitled ‘CÚIG - Creativity Unlimited, an Integrated Group’.

Integration:
Mayfield Community Arts Centre offers integrated open arts studios for people in the community. The centre provides 5 facilitators and volunteers to support people of all levels and abilities to reach their full artistic potential in a relaxed, sociable environment. Each term concludes with an exhibition of work which is open to the public.

Various projects take place in the local community facilitated by the cuig group

Training:
Mayfield Community Arts Centre is a registered FETAC centre and provides accredited courses in a number of areas including printmaking, art and design, video expression and horticulture. These workshops are integrated with people of all abilities.
