The project brought together students from Transition Year in St. Patrick's Girls' School, Gardiner's Hill and students from Cope Foundation Montenotte. They worked in four groups, some at the girls' schools and some at Cope. Their challenge was to create costumes and musical instruments for St. Patrick's Day Festival Celebrations taking place the following March. They used mostly recycled materials for the costumes and instruments. The participants learned about waste and recycling issues. They also benefited from working in groups of mixed abilities. At t he end of the project a fashion show was held in the school to display the work of the four groups.
