FETAC HORTICULTURE

Mayfield Community Arts Centre completed an extension onto their existing building in August 2006, this led to the garden area needing development. The Centre contacted the Mandalla Garden group to discuss ideas to develop a community garden. The project has been in progress since Spring 2007

In March 2007, the Centre developed its Horticulture programme and running a FETAC accredited module in Horticulture, Level 3. This gives the opportunity for local participants to gain new skills and gain qualifications while participating in and contributing to community life.
