SUMMARY
International exchange project exploring Citizenship and public art
Ireland, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Hungary, Spain and Colombia
Four public art techniques : mural painting, graffiti, performance and environmental sculpture
Local teenagers and participants with disabilities participated in four days of workshops alongside international participants.
Public seminar held to showcase work of international organisations and to share experiences with local stakeholders
Public celebration on Sunday the 24th of June at the annual Picnic in the Park at Fitzgerald’s Park.
Activities included:
Group discussions about citizenship
Learning about the European Youth in Action Programme
Intercultural exchange
Workshops in 4 different public art techniques , working alongside local teenagers and participants with disabilities
Public Seminar on Public Art and Active Citizenship
Public displays and Performances at the spiegeltent and in the park at picnic in the park
